美国《圣弗朗西斯科纪事报》网站报道，这名获刑妇女名叫玛乔丽·克内勒，现年53岁，家住圣弗朗西斯科。她和丈夫罗伯特·诺埃尔多年前开始帮服刑囚犯饲养一对加纳利犬。公狗名叫“贝恩”，重60多公斤;母狗“赫拉”40多公斤。

克内勒和诺埃尔还收养了这对加纳利犬的主人。
